Long before the Salyers family purchased the historic Woolworth's building in Covington at the corner of Madison Avenue and 7th Street, the building was home to one of the first five-and-ten-cent stores in the country. For more than 72 years, the F.W. Woolworth store sold discounted general merchandise, and after opening its lunch counter, became a general gathering place for shoppers and a precursor to the modern mall food court.

After purchasing the Woolworth's building, the Salyers family began a dazzling reconstruction project that turned the five-and-ten-cent store into a stunning wedding and event center with four beautiful ballrooms.

The Salyers family continues to transform historic buildings in Covington into more sought out wedding related businesses.  Adding The Madison South location, Fabulous Bridal and The Wedding Mall to the list. 

Working with the City of Covington, the Salyers family has spearhead the continued growth of downtown Covington with the Wedding District.  The Wedding District located between 4th & Madison up to 8th & Madison offers many new wedding related business.
